Paul left my floors looking beautiful. They were in poor condition from pets clawing at the floor, but Paul fixed all of that and made me excited to be in living and dining room. He was professional, prompt and kept me in the loop since I was also doing other projects in the house so I would know when not to step on the floor. He was neat and attentive to detail. I would definitely work with him again when I decide to tackle the rest of the wood under the carpet.

Paul outdid himself by far.  My kitchen floors were hard Wood then previous owners put down a bunch of glue for the vinyl flooring.  I didn't think I would ever be able to have hardwood in the kitchen.  But Paul came in sanded it all off and brought these floors back to life.  I can't say it enough how amazed I am at what Paul did.  Great job sir and thank you so much.

We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into to when we pulled out the decades old carpet in our home. We did so, for better or for worse. I can’t say we were surprised by its condition. With little confidence that it would be worth it, we decided to reach out to Paul. It was the best decision we could have made. Paul repaired and restored the original old 1950s red and white oak shorts flooring on the first floor and restored our original 1950s long leaf yellow pine floor on the second floor. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Beyond beautiful. It was such a pleasure to work with Paul. Don’t hesitate to reach out to him if your floors are in need, you won’t be sorry. Thanks Paul!!!

If you have old wood floors that you want restored, don’t go to anyone else. Paul exceeded our expectations in all aspects of the job and the results were beyond our imagination. We were going to redo the carpet in our entire house but now our early 1900’s pine floor refinished by Paul is the highlight of our home. Give him a call, even if you think your floor is beyond repair. He is passionate about what he does and it shows in his work.

I have yet to use this company but really wish I had when we installed our flooring. The reason I have yet to work with them is that each time I call, Paul, the owner, is so of sound mind and reasoning, we have come up with the "right" solution, rather than just doing what I ask

I remodeled and had some areas of my floor that were discolored because they were under the old kitchen cabinet layout. Another company with a great reputation provided a quote to refinish all my floors as I requested. Paul, on the other hand, saw the floors for what they were and pointed out all the other considerations that were not even on my radar. Essentially we have old world pine floors with various dings and scuffs here and there. Paul was able to see how beautiful they are, as well as practical but more importantly understood how the UV light would affect the areas of discoloration over time and possibly end up with a reverse of the minor areas of discoloration. Really technical stuff but so on the money.

As well, we had Australian cypress put in the lower level years back and would have been so much more practical to put in the same wood and style of our upper floors. Wish I new Paul back then. No doubt he would have provided a strong consult to consider the same wood and style upstairs. Now, whenever something falls on these floors you notice it and it is very tough to repair. If we had gone with the same as top level, it would have not only been consistent but would have stood the test of time much, much better.

I'd highly recommend getting a quote/consult from Paul. It may be a lop-sided quote if you don't

We can't say enough on how please we are with the results of the work Classic Wood Floors did on our 1st floor of our home. With a floor that had 90+ years of stains I thought for sure it would be a hopeless cause. My jaw dropped when I saw the final results. Owner Paul's pricing was reasonable and he was true to the time it would take to complete the job and no sawdust cleanup! After this we can't wait to do the 2nd floor of our home. Thank you Paul!

Paul is a great craftsman.We just moved to Holland. He got back to me right away with quote. He beat out all other quotes but most importantly he did a BEAUTIFUL job. It’s amazing. Couple weeks later as we move in we look at our floors and how beautiful they look. It was a difficult job as most of the house is hardwood floors plus stairs. A lot of stairs. He is patient, kind, fair, and a perfectionist. Thank you Paul for doing a wonderful job.

Had floor washed, sanded and resealed. Great job - very professional and efficient. Particularly appreciated the care taken to protect adjoining room floors, i.e. carpeting, wood trim, etc. Class act! Would not hesitate to recommend to my friends and family

What a pleasure it was to work with Paul and Classic Wood Floors. The wood floor at the church had gone without maintenance for 20 years and looked really bad. But, after a week with these guys they look better than new. Yes, there was some smell, but everyone was wonderful to work with. Oh, and when Paul says you'll have hardly any dust, he means it! I couldn't recommend them any higher!

Paul and his crew first installed my beautiful mahogany floor in my great room and hallway. They came when they said they would, very professional, and left no mess at all. Paul is a true craftsman who take pride in his work. He takes the time to the job right, and that's a rare quality these days! I'm sure it's why he has worked on the floors in several historic homes. When I decided to put the mahogany in my bedroom, I didn't even consider anyone else but Classic Wood Floors. I love my floors, and I whole-heartedly recommend them!

We have had Paul do the wood floors for our entire house. The floors are original white and red oak from the 20's. They have been transformed to their original beauty. The grain is stunning and we are extremely pleased with the work. We have recommended Paul to many of our friends as the floors are the first thing they notice upon entering our home.
